Samsung Galaxy M14 5G launched with Exynos 1330 and a 6000mAh battery

Samsung Galaxy M14 launched

Samsung has introduced a new budget phone, the Samsung Galaxy M14 into the global market.  This phone is set to replace the Samsung Galaxy M13, and it is only a matter of weeks before we have it here in Kenya.  This phone has a lot in common with the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G which was launched in January this year but is yet to arrive in the country. We expect the A14 5G to be officially launched by Samsung East Africa this month.

The Galaxy M14 5G comes with a 6000mAh battery, which is the only key difference between it and the Samsung A14.  Other key specifications of the new entrant include a 6.6 inches PLS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate, a 13MP selfie camera and a 50MP back camera.  This phone can record [email protected] videos.

Samsung Galaxy M14 comes in three colors – Navy Blue, Light Blue and Silver.  It is powered by Exynos 1330 chip paired with 4GB of RAM.  Like its predecessor, it comes in two storage options, 64GB and 128GB.  It ships with Android 13 with One UI 5  and has a type C port.  This phone’s maximum charging speed is 15W, which is decent for a phone with a 6000mAh battery.

This smartphone will definitely be one of the cheapest 5G phones you can buy in the country when in arrives. Price is expected to start at KSh 20,000 for the 64GB option and KSh 25,000 for the 128GB option.
