The FE series is already available in the Kenyan Market, intending to provide enthusiast users with flagship-quality smartphone features at mid-range costs. In summary, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, as I’ve noted in my initial thoughts on the device, is an incremental improvement that gives you all the best possible experiences you can get in the S22 series. Still in doubt about why we have the Model in Gadgets Leo. Please read our Full product description to see why you should buy the device.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G 6.4″, 256GB ROM, 8GB RAM, 4500mAh Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G design differs most noticeably from its predecessor. The ‘contour-cut’ form of the back camera module makes this phone a continuation of the Galaxy S21 series. The cladding that surrounds the cameras, unlike the S21 series, is plastic rather than metal and does not protrude from the metal frame. With that said, the phone has a lovely appearance. Getting into the details, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is a highly comfortable phone to carry and use one-handed because of its 7.9mm thin design and rounded edges everywhere. The buttons along the right side of the body are tactilely satisfying and made of aluminium. The bottom of the device has a dual Nano-SIM tray and a USB Type-C port.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G uses a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The display is bright, Vivid protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and features a top refresh rate of 120Hz. For biometric authentication, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G offers a face recognition feature and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The IP68 rating for dust and water resistance is also seen in these model.
Exynos 2100 SOC and 8GB of RAM
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has the same Exynos 2100 SoC as the S21 series’ top models. It is a strong SoC delivered in previous Samsung models and effectively runs Android 12 on the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. Additionally, this phone has wireless Dex mode, which allows you to use it as a computer and share material with a larger screen. Gaming and Multitasking on the phone are to their perfection. There are no additional lags experienced when using the device.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has OneUI 4.0, based on Android 12. The overall experience is still very much OneUI as there are many shortcuts and customization options to play with. Additionally, Playback of HDR10 video is supported.
Top Notch Cameras
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G’s camera specifications are comparable to its forerunner’s. There’s a 12-megapixel primary camera with optical stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The shooting modes and camera UI are identical to those on current Samsung flagships. It’s important to note that there is no macro mode because there isn’t a separate macro camera. The ultra-wide camera doesn’t have autofocus, so it can’t take photos of incredibly close-up objects. Photos taken during the day were vivid and rich on the phone’s screen. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G does an excellent job with video recording.
Battery Life
Regarding battery life, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is everything you hope to have in a phone. Depending on your usage, the phone can take up to 24 hours on a single charge. With that said, the model includes a 4,500mAh battery and supports fast charging. There is no charging adapter in its packaging; instead, there is an IM eject tool and a USB Type-C to Type-C connection, in true flagship style. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G may be quickly charged at up to 25W if you use a high-wattage USB PD power adapter.
Should you buy Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G 6.4″, 256GB ROM, 8GB RAM, 4500mAh?
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G 6.4″, 256GB ROM, 8GB RAM, 4500mAh is a fantastic value flagship from Samsung in its own right. It checks all the boxes in terms of performance and features, and despite the bump in price, it is still one of the only phones in this range to offer premium features such as wireless charging and IP68 waterproofing.
