Samsung Galaxy M13 Design

The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G has a clean and minimalist design. Unlike its competitors, Samsung did not use any fancy back panel or clever camera island designs. Instead, the two cameras sit almost flush with the back panel, tucked away in the top-left corner. The plastic unibody has a soft, matte finish, making it nice to touch. However, it is prone to smudges and fingerprints, especially with darker colors. But, the Aqua Green variant of the M13 5G is an exception, and smudges are not easily visible.

Because the phone is made of polycarbonate, it feels average to hold and is rather light. Despite this, it still feels solidly built, and the rounded edges and the lack of a slippery surface at the back make the whole device easy to hold, especially when using it with one hand. We get a power button at the side of the phone, which also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The power button also accompanies the volume rockers on the right side of the device. The left side of the device has the smart SIM tray, which can house two SIM cards, and there’s a provision to add a microSDXC card of up to 1 TB, thanks to the microSD slot. The M13 5G has a 6.6-inch HD+ PLS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2408  pixels and supports a variable refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The display has a peak brightness of 400 nits, which gets pretty bright but not bright enough, especially outdoors. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Moreover, the HD+ resolution may seem fine for casual usage, but it becomes quite apparent when watching videos, playing games, or reading something against a white background. Overall, the display is average, but not something to brag about.

Camera

The camera app on the device is easy to use, and the pictures clicked on the phone turn out to be decent. The primary camera captures images with ample details and vivid colors, but there is a slight lack of sharpness in the photos. The ultrawide camera also does a decent job, and the images clicked have a good field of view. However, the camera struggles in low-light conditions, and the images clicked have a lot of noise.
